Since the inaugural Groovin the Moo was held in Gloucester (NSW) in 2005, the all-ages festival has become a favourite on the Australian festival circuit, bringing a slab of iconic acts to regional stages around the country.

Drawing inspiration from their beginnings, Cattleyard Promotions are regenerating the festival and reconnecting with three of their cherished six regions in 2022, throwing open the gates to generations of GTM – welcoming first-timers, high fiving the faithful and embracing everyone in between.

Taking on a slightly different look next year, the GTM 2022 tour will kick off at its longest-standing home in Maitland NSW on Saturday 23 April. Then, it will hop over to EPIC in Canberra ACT on Sunday 24 April. The following weekend, it’s on to Bendigo VIC on Saturday 30 April.

The whole tour will be back when festival organisers can confidently deliver their full quality show.

“It’s been a long time between Moo’s and we are so genuinely happy to be back on the road to some of our local regions to reconnect with artists, community, suppliers, team and most importantly, with each other! We have missed you all terribly and thank you for your patience,” says Promoter Steve Halpin of Cattleyard.

The festival last took place in 2019 delivering a huge edition with performances from the likes of Billie Eilish, Hilltop Hoods, Coolio, Regurgitator, Jack River, DMA’s, Holy Holy and Fisher, among others.

For those who kept their 2020 tickets, all tickets will remain valid for GTM 2022. Stay tuned for a lineup announcement coming in January 2022.
