Feat. Baraka The Kid, Wild Gloriosa, Ridzyray, Daisy Kilbourne & LENNi
GRID Series is throwing a big party at the Geelong Arts Centre on Wednesday April 17 to celebrate the release of the new songs and films by Baraka The Kid, Wild Gloriosa, Ridzyray, Daisy Kilbourne and LENNi, created as part of GRID Series Geelong.
The night will feature live performances by all 5 artists who over the last 6 months, have undergone intensive industry mentoring from industry stalwarts Rich Moffat (Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo) and Jerry Poon (The Operatives), media training from publicist Monique Matosic (Broken Leg PR) and studio recording sessions with producers Joelistics (Mo’Ju, Haiku Hands), Becki Whitton and Ariel Blum (St Ives, NIASHA) to create their new releases, out on April 12 on all streaming platforms.
In support of their releases, this event will also be premiering documentaries about each of the artists. The documentaries, directed by Paul Huynh, Nick Rae, Emily Seif and Sam Biddle will give the audiences a closer, more intimate lens into the world of each artist, deep diving into their personal stories, their challenges, their motivations and their dedication to their craft.
