The result of two friends sharing a passion for music over a beer at the local pub and deciding to channel this passion into opening a rehearsal studio for local artists, GreenMan Rehearsal Studios has the most humble of beginnings.
Roy Green, owner and founder of GreenMan Rehearsal Studios has had a passion for music all his life and it has only increased over time, blossoming into what is now one of the most loved and well known rehearsal spaces in the region. Roy’s talented studio team includes Head Enginneer Blake Newton and assistant Cal “calby” Barclay, who not only offer a professional work ethic for musicians but also the warm welcoming persona of Roy himself.
Roy has been an essential individual to the local music community, offering not only a great rehearsal space and recording capabilities for the local musician, but genuine support and a loving attitude towards their music – GreenMan is not just a rehearsal room for bands but a home for them too.
Support from the local community has kept GreenMan running for six years, with early backers Ami and Ian Croxford behind the scenes since the studio’s inception – but that sums up what GreenMan is all about – it’s about a community and a love for music.
