The announcement comes hot on the heels of the release of ‘Everyone Will See It’, the latest single to drop from the upcoming album. A vibrant and catchy track showcasing Old Mervs’ signature sound and offers a taste of the magic fans can expect on the debut album.

The self-titled Old Mervs album was recorded with ARIA award-winning producer Chris Collins and is set to feature a mix of fan favourites and new material. Along with the previously released singles ‘Parched’, ‘What You’ve Lost’, ‘Forget It’ and ‘See You Again’, the album includes a batch of fresh tracks that further highlight the duo’s musical evolution.

Old Mervs—comprised of lifelong mates Dave and Henry—hail from the small farming town of Kojonup, three hours south of Perth, Western Australia. What started as a school friendship and jam sessions in a makeshift farm shed has blossomed into a celebrated career that has taken the duo to the stage alongside some of the biggest names in music.

Having turned heads with their sunny indie-rock sound, Old Mervs are no strangers to the live music scene. They’ve racked up a string of headline tours and supported some of the industry’s heavy hitters, including Liam Gallagher, The Wombats, Spacey Jane, and King Stingray. As festival favourites, they’ve graced the stages of Groovin the Moo, Yours and Owls, Splendour in the Grass, Rolling Sets, Changing Tides, and more.

With their debut album on the horizon and an exciting national tour to follow, Old Mervs are ready to solidify their place as one of Australia’s most beloved indie-rock acts.
