Taking the concept of tag to a whole new level, Geelong’s beloved laser skirmish venue has reopened with new owners and a brand-new home this July.
In a blow to the local community, Next Level Skirmish announced its closure back in April this year, citing the business was up for sale if anyone wished to purchase it for use at a new location (you can read about that here).

Well, nearly three months later and the venue has reopened under new ownership at a new spot in Bell Park.
The new face behind the business is Vedant Ahlawat, whose expertise in running Nimblehits Indoor Sports Stadium has seen the Next Level Skirmish return, bright and bolder than ever before.

Next Level Skirmish can now be found on Furner Avenue, behind NimbleHits Indoor Sports Stadium. Here, the new outdoor arena boasts a natural battlefield feel, giving you an immersive and exciting environment to explore. You’ll find barricades, little hills, and wooden structures to use as cover and vantage points. You’ll also encounter various obstacles and hazards, such as tires, old cars and a maze to manoeuvre.
Whether you want to play solo or team up, you’ll have a blast with the venue’s state-of-the-art laser guns and vests, which track your hits and health. These guns are accurate, safe and easy to use, and participants will wear sensors that detect when they are hit by a laser beam.
There’s a variety of scenarios and missions, testing teamwork, strategy and skills, while experiencing adrenaline rush of dodging, hiding and shooting in an obstacle-filled course.
A favourite for celebrating birthday parties, corporate events, school excursions, fundraisers and more, it’s good to have this little gem back up and running.
