It seems that 30 November is a hot date for Christmas festivities to kick off around the state this year. In Geelong the Floating Christmas Tree is ignited with a major Christmas event, and on the other side of the bay, Frankston will have their city taken over by festivities for the Frankston Christmas Festival.
The festival sees the return of family favourites, the Christmas market, Christmas parade, rides, entertainment and showbags, free activities for the kids, photos with Santa and fireworks from 9.15pm.
In addition, this year the festival features new attractions, the European Christmas Village, Locals Lane, Ugly Sweater Portraits, The Looney Tunes Christmas Extravaganza live on stage and of course the festivities of ALWAYS LIVE – End of the Line will roll into the overall community celebrations.

With so much to see and do this weekend, and for free, there’s no reason to not get the family out spreading the Christmas and live music cheer!
