In case you missed it, the beloved Pan-Asian hotspot has reopened at a new two-level venue.
The popular Pan-Asian fusion restaurant, frankie. Bar & Eatery, has officially relocated to a larger and more vibrant venue.
The new restaurant and bar fit-out, in partnership with North Building Group, is as spectacular as we could have imagined, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. But fret not, loyal frankie. fans, your favourite spot remains central in Geelong, just across the street at 26 Malop Street, the previous home of Piano Bar. This exciting move comes hot on the heels of frankie. being crowned the ‘People’s Choice’ for the region’s best restaurant by the Geelong Advertiser.
Ross Blackam, the mastermind behind frankie., explained the decision, stating, “We have outgrown our current location and when an opportunity presented itself to expand our premises, we jumped at it. This new venue is fresh, vibrant and allows us to offer a more premium experience in a larger space. Rest assured, we will continue to offer the same Pan-Asian fusion dishes and incredible cocktails you know and love at our new address – with the same award-winning team.
The venue officially opened at its new digs on 28 October and has since been trading as normal from Tuesday to Sunday with house-made, delicious food, like the irresistible Golden Balls, Spring Rolls, Bao Buns and the finger-licking Popcorn Chicken, and an impressive wine list featuring a selection from local and Australian producers and more than 30 hand crafted cocktails.
The sleek, trendy, and inviting interior design, reminiscent of the original location, welcomes guests with wooden floors, beige leather couches, soft rose-gold accents, plush chairs, textured walls, a neutral bar, and stunning pendant lighting. It sets the perfect scene for Saturday night drinks or romantic evening dining in Geelong.
Get ready for a fresh chapter in the story of frankie. Bar & Eatery. It’s bigger, better, and still your go-to spot for Pan-Asian delights.
