The one day conference has an extensive assortment of the world’s best innovators, leading digital pioneers and game changing industry leaders including Co-Founder of Apple Steve Wozniak, Chief Digital Officer and Vice President of Deakin University William Confalonieri, and Kate Eriksson – head of innovation at PwC Australia.

Pivot Summit is held annually in Geelong with the goal of facilitating local and national innovation as well as developing, and significantly driving Geelong’s digital and start-up sectors. With a substantial focus on acting as a catalyst for networking digital and creative professionals with global leaders in the related industries, Pivot Summit aims to motivate, inspire and educate its audience of creatives and arm them with innovative ideas to increase growth within their businesses.

Pivot Summit was founded by Leighton Wells, Geelong based marketing strategist guru and Director of Runway Geelong.

Leighton has aspirations to grow Pivot Summit into a multi-day, multi-site event that will include collections of digital and interactive film, various music performances, displays of entrepreneurial innovation, idea generation and creative collaboration.

Pivot Summit aims to be Australia’s answer to the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival and given the incredible line-up of avant-garde thinkers and creators it has this year, it is already a powerhouse of innovation that is sure to inspire creative minds with big dreams.
