Face the Music: Final Program

Face the Music, Melbourne’s annual music and creative arts summit is just around the corner. Promising a party that celebrates the people behind 2017’s biggest music stories and positive changes, this year’s summit is bound to be a good one.

The lineup already features intimidatingly talented bands and artists as well as many industry professionals. The now huge program continues to grow with the addition of Iceland Airwaves Managing Director Grímur Atlason, FBi Radio’s Music Director Amelia Jenner, triple j’s Bridget Hustwaite and Berlin Sound Diplomacy’s Katerina Ivanova.

Also coming along is music critic Shaad D’Souza, author and critic Brodie Lancaster, radio and TV personality Ash London, Sound Australia’s Millie Milgate, festival booker Richard Moffat and Pozible General Manager Elliot Chapple.

Face the Music is hosting a number of accessible workshops and career meetings for young folks entering the creative arts industry as well as welcoming those who want to further establish themselves. This year’s program features a diverse range of topics that include international touring, audience development, start-ups, fandom influence, creative funding, technology and social discussion around race, gender, mental health and well-being.
