Dope Lemon AKA Angus Stone is giving away a vintage Cadillac to celebrate his third album release

DOPE LEMON’s Rose Pink Cadillac will be released on November 12.

Dope Lemon, the side project of Angus Stone, just loves to treat music lovers, and this is most definitely his biggest yet.

To celebrate his forthcoming album, Rose Pink Cadillac out November 12, he’s shouting one lucky pre-orderer a beautifully restored rose pink 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood.

Yes, that’s right. A free Cadillac just for pre-ordering an album that you probably would have bought anyway, featuring previously released tunes ‘Kids Fallin’ In Love’ and ‘Every Day Is A Holiday’ ft. Winston Surfshirt, title track ‘Rose Pink Cadillac’ and most recently released track ‘Stingray Pete’.

Keep up with the latest music news via our website.

The album is split into two halves (daytime and nighttime that reflect the respective Dope Lemon experiences) , with the vinyl edition being pressed onto two separate picture discs. It arrives two years after his second studio album under the Dope Lemon moniker, Smooth Big Cat.

“This new Dope Lemon record Rose Pink Cadillac has been an epic frontier to have embarked on,” explained Stone.

“The making of this creation took months of many tireless long nights… plus many bottles of delicious whiskey and treats.

“Each time the writing of a new album takes a new chapter out of my life and freezes it in time. The days and months poured into making this record disappear in the blink of an eye, it’s a mix of hard work and pure joy.

“We purchased a beautifully restored pristine rose pink 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood to give away to one lucky lil lemon in Australia. Everyone that pre-orders the album from www.dopelemon.com goes into the draw to win one of the most amazing cars I’ve ever seen.”

While achieving global popularity as one half of the brother-sister duo, Angus & Julia Stone, the New South Welsh songwriter has amassed over 400 million streams via his side project from his two widely acclaimed albums, Smooth Big Cat (2019) which came in at #2 on the ARIA Album charts, and Honey Bones (2016), as well as the Hounds Tooth EP. This will be his third release under his solo alias and comes just weeks after Angus & Julia Stone release their surprise fifth album, which serves as the soundtrack to the Life Is Strange video game series.
