Curb Your Enthusaism Is Making a Comeback

While the creator behind the show, Larry David, has said in the past the odds are heavily stacked against the show ever making a return, a long-time character from the series has suggested otherwise.

J.B Smoove, who plays Leon Black on the show, has said to The Rich Eisen Show, that a phone conversation with David suggested he may be thinking on bringing things back. “He starts off with his little, ‘Ehhhh, you know, I’m thinking about coming back’. But see, that’s great because he has not said no, which puts us in a great position for possibilities… that means it’s still going. If Larry does not say no, there’s a possibility he may say yes. And then he went extra. He said, ‘If I do come back, would you be available?’ I said, ‘You know something Larry, I’ll be available. Just call me, give me early notice, and I’ll be there’. I’ll move anything to the side for Curb Your Enthusiasm, which would be a fabulous thing to do. Season Nine would be fabulous.”

Word from David himself is that Curb is very much returning for its ninth season, stating In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, “I left, I did nothing, I returned” as the reason.
