In a statement from Coldplay, the band expressed their sympathy for fans affected by the Adelaide and Brisbane flight cancellations. Those who were booked on VA721 on Wednesday evening or VA474 on Thursday evening and held tickets for the Perth shows are eligible for these complimentary tickets.
“We were really sorry to hear about the fans who didn’t make it to this weekend’s Perth shows because of two cancelled flights from Adelaide and Brisbane,” Coldplay said in a statement.
“If you were booked to travel on VA721 on Wednesday evening or VA474 on Thursday evening and had a ticket / tickets for the Perth show, the band would like to offer you a free ticket / tickets for the 2024 Australian dates.
“Anyone affected should email [email protected] before 5pm AEDT on 28th November for info on how to claim their ticket(s).”
Coldplay announce Melbourne and Sydney headline stadium shows for 2024
The band’s Australian leg of the tour is set to monumental, with shows confirmed in Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, New Zealand. Taking place from October 30, 2024, to November 13, 2024, the tour promises unforgettable performances and an electric atmosphere that the band have become renowned for.
