Client Liaison, Lime Cordiale, Alex Lahey & more are performing at Melbourne’s first drive-in concert venue

It was only yesterday that the Untitled Group offered a glimmer of hope for music lovers with the announcement of The Drive-In, Victoria’s first drive-in live concert venue.

Located within the lush bowling lanes at Flemington Racecourse, it was revealed ‘The-Drive-In’ will hold true to a traditional concert experience with the same calibre of production that you’d expect from any major music event, with the aims to reignite Victoria’s hurting live arts industry which was brought to a complete halt once COVID-19 restrictions came into effect.

As expected from the Untitled Group, the guys behind the likes of Beyond The Valley, Ability Fest, Grapevine Gathering, Pitch Music & Arts and Wildlands, we’ve now been gifted the first three weeks of music programming, and it is absolutely brimming with fresh, Australian talent.

Kicking off on Friday July 10, the festival stage will host some of Australia’s biggest names in music including the likes of Client Liaison, Alex Lahey, Winston Surfshirt, Boo Seeka, Running Touch, Set Mo, Lime Cordiale, Ball Park Music, Baker Boy, and Northeast Party House, among others. You can peep the full lineup below.

Each date with see two bands take to the raised festival stage that can be enjoyed by music lovers via large viewing screens with parking grids designed for optimal site lines. Untitled Group has developed event management plans with health professionals. Appropriate procedures and social distancing measures will be put in place for everyone to enjoy the show safely.

With a limited capacity for each event, you’ll have to book in quick.

Presale tickets go on sale Thursday 18 June 6pm AEST, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday 19 June at 12pm AEST. You can sign up for presale here.
