Transform Transwear, a bold new Melbourne fashion label that launched in March 2024, is making waves by throwing out the rulebook on traditional clothing designs.
Rather than sticking to the usual ‘male’ or ‘female’ fits, Transform has created its first-ever range of suits designed with the trans and gender-diverse community in mind. The goal? To give people the cut, fit, and silhouette that matches their gender identity – no more one-size-fits-all thinking.

“We’re here to solve problems and ensure the trans and gender-diverse community is represented in fashion,” says Simone, the visionary behind the brand. “It pains me that people have so often not had a place to shop for clothes where they felt represented. So we hope to see Transform become a ‘go-to’ brand for the trans and gender-diverse community.”
Breaking from traditional fashion that often limits body shapes to either ‘male’ or ‘female,’ Transform Transwear’s suits are designed with straight, masculine lines, but still offer the hip room and narrower shoulders that the trans masculine and non-binary community often need. It’s all about creating clothing that fits, feels comfortable, and reflects their true selves.
“We want to design clothes that feel good, fit well, and look good too,” Simone explains. “That means putting a lot more thought into the design process and doing a lot of consultation with the community about what they want or what they find difficult to source.”
This move into gender-neutral suits follows the success of the brand’s previous offerings – including chest binders and swimwear – and marks a major step forward. But that’s just the beginning for Transform. Plans are already in the works for new products like tucking underwear, activewear, sports chest binders, packing underwear, padded underwear, and even swimwear. And, as the brand grows, they’re committed to offering a full range of essentials, from underwear to outerwear, specifically for the trans and gender-diverse community.
“We’re only interested in solving problems,” Simone says. “We’ve never had any desire to simply sell things other people are selling. The passion we have is to make and do things better. Make clothes more comfortable so people can feel good in themselves and focus on more important things in their day.”

Transform’s commitment to inclusivity and comfort is clear not just in their designs, but also in the resources they offer to the community. The brand’s website aims to be a destination for more than just shopping – it’s about support and education too. Visitors can find experience-sharing stories from real people, as well as helpful information from medical professionals. Plus, Simone and her team plan to host information evenings at their Cremorne space, offering real support to the trans and gender-diverse community.
“We’re hoping to offer resources and education in a way that wasn’t available to us previously,” Simone says. “It’s all about making people feel less alone in what they’re going through.”
Transform Transwear is more than just a fashion brand – it’s a movement that’s all about making sure everyone can express themselves authentically and feel comfortable while doing it. With the support of brand ambassador, AFLW’s Tilly Lucas-Rodd, the brand is quickly becoming a trusted name for those looking for clothing that aligns with their true selves.
Transform isn’t just about changing the way we look at fashion – it’s about making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and celebrated – and the journey is only just beginning.
