Billie Eilish is bringing her ‘Happier Than Ever’ World Tour to Melbourne

19-year-old pop phenomenon Billie Eilish has announced an Australian tour, which will bring her to Melbourne in September 2022.

I am not sure how many Australian visits it takes until you become an honorary citizen, but with Billie Eilish and her brother/producer and frequent collaborator Finneas O’Connell set to make their fourth trip to our country in 2022, it has got to be close. At the least, a free, fresh batch of lamingtons wouldn’t go astray.

Keep up with the latest music news via our website.

The tour to arenas in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth backs her second album, Happier Than Ever. Six of the album’s tracks were released as singles, all of which charted in the Top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100.

The all-ages arena shows will see a partnership with sustainability organisation REVERB, an organisation which harnesses the power of music “to inspire millions of music lovers and music makers to take part in tackling today’s most pressing environmental and social issues”.

Each show will feature a Billie Eilish Action Village, which fans will be able to attend and discuss climate action and climate justice.

Billie: “It’s just gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be jumping and screaming and getting low. It’s gonna be so much fun. I cannot wait.”

It’ll be the singer’s first live dates in both countries since 2019 when she performed to frenzied, sold-out capacity crowds. The new shows come off the back of her #1 Album charting, critically acclaimed sophomore record Happier Than Ever.

Pre-sale tickets going on sale on October 13 at 12pm AEST while general public tickets will go on sale Friday October 15, at 12pm.
