Making his way around Victoria this week with shows in Castlemaine, St Kilda and inner city Melbourne, Ben Lee adds a Victorian date to his touring schedule.

Just announced, the multi-ARIA-Award winning Australian national treasure will be playing an intimate show on Friday 9 August.

Halfway through his solo tour, which has seen Lee play Sale, Nunawading, Rye, Sydney, Danger Island, Cairns and Townsville thus far, Lee’s shows roll his witty banter and touch-in-cheek humour into his phenomenal setlist of Australian indie-pop classics including ‘Catch My Disease’, ‘Cigarettes Will Kill You’ and ‘We’re All In This Together’.

The shows come ahead of his new album release later in the year, which is already seeing Lee re-emerge in the Australian music scene. ‘Lover‘ saw him use the prom photo of Sam and Tim from Cub Sport as the single cover, instantly making the track more appealing to new audiences and his latest ‘Heavy Metal’ further cements his return.
His show at Queenscliff Town Hall follows on from an electrifying performance from Kate Miller-Heidke earlier this month.
