The gigantic tour started in March, with Missy Higgins already serenading audiences across 16 cities including Ballarat, Melbourne, Bendigo and Traralgon on the Victorian front to rave reviews. The set, which takes audiences back to her pixie cut days, playing The Sound of White in full to mark its 20 year anniversary, showcases the impact of the debut ARIA-award winning album including its singles ‘Scar’, ‘The Sound of White’ and ‘The Special Two’. It’s also a opportunity to jump into the Australia artists and Geelong Grammar school alumni’s latest offering The Second Act.

The Second Act album is produced, engineered and recorded by Higgins herself in her own home. The album featuring the singles ‘You Should Run’ and ‘The Second Act’  and is to be released on Friday 6 September via EMI Music Australia. In addition to the new album, Higgins has reissued her debut masterpiece as a special anniversary offering, on double CD and LP, as available for order now.

Along for the shows has been Angie McMahon who played a glorious duet of ‘Where I Stood’ at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.  Tickets to the newly added Geelong show are listed for Frontier Member presale from Thursday 23 May from 11am AEST. They will run for 24 hours or until allocation is exhausted. General sale is from Monday 27 May from 11am AEST.
