Have you heard the good word about the Beechworth Music Festival? From the lovely folks behind the festival, it is a “day and night of music, good safe times, free camping and a complete sensory overload”.
Other than a cracking lineup, is there anything else one could hope for from their festival experience? Now, before we get to the cracking lineup, an interesting tidbit: BMF’s home is located on the former Mayday Hills Lunatic Asylum farm in the heart of Beechworth. Beechworth is also one of Victoria’s bestpreserved gold mining towns. Okay, so about the lineup and you have Briggs, King of the North, The Public Opinion Six, Big Smoke, My Left Boot, The Sugarcanes, Liv Cartledge & Band, Shewolf, Mutton, Richard Perso, Geoff Jackson and DJ Mermaid. Your MC for festivities is Cat McGauran. Liv Cartledge is a winner of the Telstra Road to Discovery.
