With the AFL and NRL seasons complete, tennis season is starting to trickle back into our forethoughts for the summer, with the Australian Open LIVE event heating things up.

The Australian Open has announced the music lineup for its 2025 AO LIVE event, marking the only Grand Slam worldwide to host a dedicated music festival alongside its tennis tournament.

The entertainment offering, programmed by Untitled Group, will span three days from 23 to 25 January, and feature some of the biggest names in music, including Benson Boone, Kaytranada, Kesha, and Armand Van Helden.

AO LIVE is set to take place at John Cain Arena, with performances scheduled across the entire AO precinct. The event will include a diverse lineup of bands, solo artists, and DJs, leading up to a festival-style grand finale on the last day. Craig Tiley, Australian Open Tournament Director, highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “AO LIVE is an evolution of the AO’s music offering and will see live music and entertainment across the whole precinct over 21 days during January, from fan-favourite performers in Garden Square to in-demand DJs spinning anthems on Grand Slam Oval. AO LIVE has entertainment covered for all tastes and is all-inclusive on a Ground Pass ticket.”

The first night of AO LIVE will kick off on Thursday 23 January, headlined by American singer-songwriter Benson Boone. Boone, who has gained international acclaim with over 1.9 billion global streams, made waves earlier this year at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he won Best Alternative Video.

On Friday 24 January, Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Kaytranada will take the stage. Known for his unique blend of house, hip-hop, and electronic beats, Kaytranada has performed at global events like Coachella and opened for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour in 2022. His performance is expected to be a major highlight of the event.

The grand finale on Saturday 25 January will coincide with the Women’s Finals, offering a full day of festival-style entertainment. Kicking off at 11am, the event will feature performances from several artists, culminating in a closing show from pop star Kesha and dance music legend Armand Van Helden. Kesha, returning to Australia after seven years, is set to deliver a high-energy performance, while Armand Van Helden will close the event with his iconic hits.

Tickets for AO LIVE start at $89, which includes access to the Australian Open 2025 grounds, offering fans a chance to experience world-class tennis, live music, and premium food and beverage options.

Tickets will be available from Thursday 10 October via the Australian Open website.
