“On tour I relish the small but ‘extra’ things like selling unique merch – scented candles, enamel pins – but I’m most excited about the limited edition cloud coloured vinyl! This item is a dream come true; it perfectly fits the ‘Small Town Temple’ aesthetic,” she says.

“I am so proud of this record and the live band that’s behind me at the moment. It feels like the highlight of my solo career, so far.”

‘Experimenting with music is my joy in life’: 25 years on and Ella Hooper remains committed to her craft

With a career spanning 20 years as the distinctive front woman of Killing Heidi, a dynamic solo artist, occasional DJ, TV presenter for Rockwiz and former regular on Spicks and Specks, Hooper has been branded everything from a pop sensation to the ultimate rock chick.

Having burst onto the Australian music scene fronting Killing Heidi when she was still a teenager (scoring their first number one single, ‘Mascara’ on Ella’s 17th birthday while their debut album, Reflector, was one of the fastest-selling Australian albums of all time), this latest output for Ella truly represents a new start and a stunning solo single from one of Australia’s most-loved singer songwriters.
