Never known a dad not to love a barbeque - a fact that Armstrong BBQ know too well as they gear up for Father's Day.
The dedicated Texas Barbeque Restaurant and Whiskey Bar in Mount Duneed will be hosting a special Father’s Day smoke-out for the special men in our lives.
Held on Father’s Day on Sunday 1 September, the event will see Armstrong BBQ crank up the smokers to serve up the juiciest Texan cuts for dad.

Treat dad to a smorgasbord of smoked meats, served up family style on big platters. The meat selection includes black onyx brisket, BBQ ribs, house sausages, beef cheeks, pulled pork, chicken wings and an array of sides such as mac n cheese, potato salad, pinto beans, coleslaw, esquites with sauces, pickled vegetables and white bread. It’s a southern feast fitting for the father. If vegetarian is your choice, the Armstrong BBQ have you sorted with a special vegetarian menu as well.
The celebration would not be complete without drinks a plenty, and each ticket includes the first Jack Daniel’s, tap beer, wine or soft drink for free for each dad.
Whilst the day is about dad, they wouldn’t be dads without the kids. As such, Armstrong BBQ are also looking after the little ones, bringing their Smallville Food Truck on-site to offer up kids favourites, chicken nuggets, hotdogs and fries. Kids also eat free, with 1 free kids meal per adult booking. If you’re a family of five, don’t worry, your third child won’t go hungry. Meals are then $10 for every child after that limit.
In addition to the massive feeding on offer, the Armstrong BBQ warehouse location will also be playing the finest of country tunes and stoking up the firepits for marshmallow roasting in their massive outdoor space.
