ALDI’s $30 bottle of vodka has won top prize at the International Alcohol Awards

Bloody beauty.

If you’re still on your iso budget but have gotten used to those quarantine cocktails of late, boy do we have some news for you.

Tamova Vodka – ALDI’s very own brand – has snatched the winning prize at the annual Global Spirits Masters competition, winning the Master Award in the vodka category (which is even more prestigious than a golden medal!!)

The cheap but clearly delicious award-winning Aussie vodka is distilled four times and traditionally filtered for exceptional purity, boasting an ‘elegant nose’ and ‘slightly sweet citrus palate’, according to the experts.

This isn’t the only award the ALDI vodka have scored, having previously won the 2019 Spirits International Prestige Awards Gold Medal, 2019 International Spirits Challenge Silver Medal and 2019 The Vodka Masters Silver Medal. ALDI even took home gold in the gin category in the Global Spirits Masters last year with their Greyson’s Seville Orange Gin.

They’re clearly doing something right.
