Taking to 15 iconic regional Victoria towns – Colac, Terang, Port Fairy, Warrnambool, Traralgon, Bundy Hall, Archies Creek, Coolart, Macedon, Benalla, Marysville, Bendigo, Watchem, Jeparrit and Ballarat – the tour will see a slew of artists performing songs inspired by one of the most influential albums in the history of music, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s 1972 album Will the Circle be Unbroken.

Spanning two generations and multiple genres, artists include the likes of Tim Rogers, Kylie Auldist, Mick Thomas, Debra Byrne, Kee’Ahn, Brooke Taylor, Danny Walsh, Harry Hooky, Loretta Miller, Fenn Wilson, Sarah Carroll, Freya Josephine Hollick and many more, all coming together for an incredible month of performances. Each regional date will feature a different mix of these artists playing in-the-round and backed by the Row Jerry Crow band, which is comprised of Paul Woseen (The Screaming Jets), Jeff Consi (Badloves), Dion Hirini (Vika & Linda Bull), Rob Hornbuckle (The Masters Apprentices), John Kendall (Uncle Bill) and Delsinki.

The concerts will channel the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s authentic and uniting recording approach on Will the Circle be Unbroken, which was created to bring together two generations of musicians and a divided nation and to plant the seeds of hope for a better future, becoming one of the most influential albums in the history of music.

Despite being released 48 years ago, the album is more pertinent than ever, it’s message of unity holding strong in a world that remains largely divided and this tour is a nod to exactly that, spanning generations, cultures, sexes, politics, race, and musical genre. We will see special guest musicians and singers in never-before-heard trios and duets, alongside well-known artists partnered with lesser known yet exceptionally talented younger artists.

“In a world that seems to be at each other’s throats every other second, and not LISTENING to each other, we wanted to create a musical message that would inspire everybody to stop and reflect on what is important in life,” Row Jerry Crow mandolin/songwriter Delsinki and fiddle player John Kendall said.

“Putting our heads together we thought we’d get our eclectic bunch of mates all together in one room and show the connection artistry that comes from music. We got an incredible response.
