Geelong Arts Centre have made the difficult decision to cancel all scheduled performances and events and temporary closure of its buildings to the public, commencing today, Monday 16 March 2020.
This decision comes in response to the best health advice from state and federal authorities and is in line with a state-wide response from other arts venues and creative industries agencies.
The cancellations and closure will remain in effect for four weeks, through 12 April, with the Geelong Performing Arts Centre Trust and Management assessing the situation as information evolves and re-assess the situation again by the end of March.
Ticket holders over this period will be emailed with a confirmation of cancellation, refunds will be provided for cancelled performances. Refunds will be processed automatically – you do not need to contact Geelong Arts Centre.
