There’s a new four-day psytrance festival coming to Geelong over Easter

words by staff writer

A new underground music festival will take over Geelong this Easter, with the launch of Celestial Grove at Armstrong Acres Estate.

The four-day camping festival brings together organisers Sickest House and AustrAliens, who previously collaborated on Celestial Society. Their latest venture promises to fill the void left by Esoteric Festival with a multi-genre experience spanning dubstep to psytrance.

Celestial Grove

  • Friday April 18 to Monday April 21, 2025
  • Armstrong Acres Estate, Geelong

The event features an extensive lineup headlined by Copycatt, European act DITE, Handsdown and Ren Zukii. Supporting artists include Amber Savage, Dirge, ERF, Le’Bruh, Miss Jade, Megapixel, Naser, Ophélie Mercury, Phenomenal, Soul Alignment, Tobacco Rat, Wiser and Yash Bansal.

Additional performances will come from a lengthy undercard featuring over 60 artists including ADN, Anastasia, Azul 666, Bassline Shaman, Bakas, Bass Obscurer, Ben Wild and many more. A secret special guest is also promised among the lineup.

Beyond music, the event will feature performances curated by Celestial Circus Collective, while galleries and markets will be run by Astrid Ravendahl, The Bradley, Loonitik, Moon Doogas and Spore Print Collective. Workshops will be provided by Cosmic Intelligence Agency.

The festival site is located 10 minutes from central Geelong, with weekend passes starting from $161.07 including booking fees. The organisers note that limited camping spaces are available, with approximately 400 spots on offer. Car parking requires an additional $100 donation due to limited space, though complimentary shuttle buses will run from Waurn Ponds shopping centre to the festival grounds.

Sickest House members are encouraged to bring their membership pins, with organisers teasing “a pleasant surprise” for members of the collective.
