Daylesford Records

8/11 Howe street, Daylesford

Daylesford is going to be pumping this year, with DJs spinning wax and live music all day from 10am to 5pm.

There will be a number of giveaways, including memberships for the subscription record club Vnyl 2 U up for grabs and if that wasn’t cool enough – there’ll be a store-wide 20 per cent discount on all records for the day.

The store will have some RSD stock, but it’s all about the celebration of this iconic local spot and the community that get behind it.

Go throw your support there way, here!

Bad Neighbour Records

11 Rutland Street

These guys may not have any events scheduled in particular for Record Store Day, but if you’re doing the rounds why not stop in to check out their stock.

These guys are bunked in with Rebecchi’s in Newtown, so you can enjoy a coffee and lunch while you’re there. Ideal!

Check them out here!

For nearly two decades, Record Store Day has been the ultimate tribute to indie record stores worldwide, offering rare vinyl, live performances, artist signings, and more. This year will be no different.

Beyond the records, the event aims to underscore the essential role of record store staff in preserving Australia’s music culture and fostering community connections, shining a spotlight on the unsung heroes of the music industry who champion new music, share their expertise, and help keep vinyl culture alive, one record at a time.
