The Gellibrand River Blues Festival is back and it’s ready to rock for its 12th year! From Friday, February 21 to Sunday, February 23, 2025, the peaceful town of Gellibrand will be buzzing with live music, delicious food, and a heap of fun for all ages. This annual three-day celebration is not to be missed, so mark your calendars now!

Things kick off on Friday 21 February at the Gellibrand River Hotel from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. If you’re a blues lover, you’re in for a treat—this night promises some killer tunes and a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for easing into the weekend. The music keeps rolling all day on Saturday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, with some of the greatest blues bands in the country taking to the stage. If you’ve got a passion for live music, a cold drink, and a relaxed vibe, this is the place to be. Expect plenty of toe-tapping, dancing, and good times all around.
But Sunday 23 February is when the festival hits full swing. That’s when the Festival Market takes over Rex Norman Reserve from 9:30am to 2:00pm. The market is a showcase of everything that makes the Otways great, from fresh blueberry products (think jams, sauces, and fresh berries) to local art, crafts, and homemade goodies. Not only will you get a taste of the best local produce, but you’ll also have a chance to learn all about the region’s thriving blueberry industry. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this is the perfect spot to find unique gifts, sample tasty treats, and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of the market.
It’s not just food and goods on offer—there’s something for everyone. The festival organizers have made sure there are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
