One of Victoria's favourite independant music festival's has announced this will be it's final year.

With a heavy heart but no shortage of lifelong memories and five-festivals-worth of well-earned pride, the organisers of Loch Hart Music Festival announced this week that the 2025 instalment will be its last.

Taking to instagram over the weekend, the festival cited ever-growing costs and ever-slowing ticket sales as the reason for their boutique festival dream being rendered “not feasible”.

Loch Hart Music Festival 2025

  • When: 10 – 12 January 2025
  • Where: Great Ocean Road, Princetown, Kirrae Whurrong Country

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Located on the national heritage listed 243m stretch of the winding Great Ocean Road in Princetown, Kirrae Whurrong, Loch Hart Music Festival has become a fixture to the festival calendar since its November 2018 inception.

The pitfalls have not passed Loch Hart Music Festival though with the impacts of the pandemic bruising operations, and economic influences, including spending trends during a downturn, deterring ticket sales in 2024. However, despite this, the festival has continued from strength to strength under the leadership of Jayden Bath, who continually reinforces the values of the independent community festival.

Loch Hart Music Festival returns in 2025 for what is a showstopping schedule of music, arts, comedy and community all in the one place.

There’s still time to grab a ticket! Don’t miss out on being a part of the last Loch Hart.
