The music community is rallying behind Isabella Khalife in her cancer battle.
In the face of adversity, Isabella Khalife, a beloved local musician, is courageously sharing her battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (Nodular Sclerosing Type, Staging TBC).
After discovering a lump on her collarbone, Isabella sought medical attention, leading to a diagnosis that has taken her on a challenging path towards treatment.

In June, Isabella’s journey began with a visit to the doctor, followed by an ultrasound and a fine needle aspiration biopsy. Unfortunately, the results returned positive for Lymphoma, confirming the presence of cancer. An excision biopsy surgery in July further solidified the diagnosis and identified the specific sub-type. The exact stage will be determined once the PET scan results are available.
While facing the uncertainties of her diagnosis, Isabella’s haematologist is carefully crafting a treatment plan that may entail a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In the coming months, she will embark on this journey, strengthened by the support of her community.
As Isabella navigates her way through treatment, she acknowledges the financial strain it can bring with work now out of the question. In response to the outpouring of love and concern from her friends, fans, and well-wishers, she decided to establish a GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will help alleviate some of the substantial costs associated with her medical journey.

The contributions made to the GoFundMe campaign will be directed towards crucial aspects of her treatment, such as covering the expenses for treatment itself, specialist fees (including haematologists and fertility specialists), ongoing scans, and necessary tests. Additionally, Isabella seeks naturopathic support to complement her conventional treatment plan.
“Please only contribute if you have the capacity, as I know times are tough for a lot of people at the moment. Any amount big or small will be so deeply appreciated,” Isabella shares in her GoFundMe.
“Not to be cringey and quote my own song haha, but just so you guys know – I am okay. ‘I know that I will swim again, I’ve done it many times before’.”
Despite the adversity she faces, the strength and positivity she exudes are a testament to her remarkable spirit.
Renowned within the local music scene, the young singer-songwriter has a real talent, captivating her audiences with sweet-sounding vocals and impresses with her multi-instrumental ability.
