EverNow will be a rich dreamscape where audiences can experience the magic and wonder of Western Australia. Grounded on Noongar Boodjar, the festival is inspired by the State’s rich biodiversity, creativity and First Nations people’s connection to this place – now and forever.

An Extraordinary Lineup of Free Events

EverNow Festival invites you to join an extraordinary weekend of celebration, featuring three accessible and free elements:

  1. Song Circle at Supreme Court Gardens (4th to 8th October, 5 pm to 10 pm) – Experience the grounding and welcoming ambiance as live Noongar songs and dances fill the air. Created by the imaginative Boomerang and Spear team, this future-focused immersive wonderland will leave you enchanted.
  2. Fire Gardens at Government House Gardens (5th to 8th October, 6.15 pm to 9.15 pm) – Let international flame experts, Compagnie Carabosse, whisk you away to a magical world of leaping flames, mesmerizing shadows, and wonder at Government House Gardens.
  3. Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak at Kings Park (6th to 9th October, 7 pm to 11 pm) – The acclaimed Boorna Waanginy returns bigger and better than ever, immersing Kings Park in spectacular high-tech 3D projections, animation, sound, and lighting effects. Witness the rebirth of this production with new stories as we transition from late summer (Bunuru) to a new season (Kambarang).

Guided by Perth Festival’s Noongar Advisory Circle, EverNow Festival embodies the circle’s significance in Noongar culture, symbolizing deep connections to life cycles, ceremonial practices, and the sharing of knowledge across generations.

EverNow Festival is a celebration of Western Australia’s unique Noongar Boodjar (Country), proudly supported by the WA Government and presented by Tourism WA. Produced by Perth Festival’s out-of-season Special Projects arm, EverNow continues the legacy of incredible free events such as Place Des Anges (2012), The Giants (2015), Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak (2017 and 2019), Highway to Hell (2020), and High Voltage (2023).
