The biggest Elvis concert in the world is heading to Melbourne in August

There are concerts and there are big concerts... this is the BIGGEST.

One of the most iconic public figures of the 20th century, ELVIS left a unique and indelible mark on the American music landscape that endures to this day. Known as the King of Rock n’ Roll, there was no one artist in the world bigger than ELVIS which is why his name was and always will be written in caps.

At the height of his fame, there was no one bigger in the entertainment world. If any of his fans feared his star would fade, they were gladly mistaken. Not only does he sell more records today than when he was alive but his fan clubs around the world have grown along with the legend. There are estimated to be 30,000 Elvis impersonators on the planet but there are very few good ones and only a handful of great ones.

Long Live The King: Explore Elvis Presley and the 1968 Comeback Special that changed everything

If like us, you’ve been reminded of the sheer brilliance of Elvis Presley over the past few months thanks to the exclusive Elvis: Direct from Graceland exhibition at Bendigo Art Gallery (now entirely sold-out!!) and Australian director Baz Luhrmann’s long-awaited fever dream of a biopic about the King of Rock’n’Roll, than this upcoming concert is just what you need.

Coinciding with Elvis Week, a celebration of the music, movies and legacy of Elvis Presley in Memphis, The Final Encore will feature one of those rare great Elvis impersonators, the incomparable Mark Andrew as ELVIS in the biggest ELVIS concert ever staged anywhere in the world.

Taking to Melbourne’s magnificent Hamer Hall on August 14, King of the World, the Final Encore will feature over 100 musicians and singers performing on stage the Andrew, more than double the King ever worked with (which was 47).

Devised by Australian entertainment and creative wizard John St Peeters, Elvis fans can be in the audience for this historical, record-breaking event that is never likely to be repeated and coinciding with the 45th Anniversary of the King’s sad passing. Described as an audio-visual extravaganza, there will be a giant screen relating to the story of Elvis in song and visuals.

This event will be talked about for years to come and people will ask “were you there for King of the World – The Final Encore?” Well you can be.
