Join us at the Anglesea Bowls Club for a night of live music, raffles and lawn bowls!

We’ll be celebrating the power of community and supporting a great cause by raising funds for headspace Geelong’s family and training programs. Together, we can make a big difference in the lives of young people by providing them with the mental health support they need to thrive.

Get ready to enjoy the incredible talents of local bands such as Left at the Avenue, COOLDAD, and Fuze. Fantastic prizes donated by local businesses are available to be won by purchasing raffle tickets and further supporting our cause. Additionally, bring your friends and participate in a game or two of lawn bowls from 2.00pm until dark.

Grazing boards curtosy of Feed Me surf coast will be available to you throughout the night, along with mains for dinner at 5.30.

This event was organised by Year 12 Sacred Heart College Geelong students Alexandra, Paige, and Emmerson, who are passionate about positively impacting their community. By joining us, you’ll support their vision and contribute to a brighter future for young people in our community.

Bachelor Girl

Tania Doko and James Roche of Bachelor Girl have proven their enduring, much loved status in Aussie music culture. The double platinum, Aria award winning debut album featuring hit singles including ‘Treat Me Good’, ‘Permission To Shine’, and the international smash ‘Buses and Trains’ – written by James – credited as the most played Australian composition in the last 25 years. The formidable coupling of songwriting and band performance excellence is landmarked by the recent announcement of Tania Doko’s place in the top 300 of Triple M’s ‘Greatest Singers of All Time’ list.

Bachelor Girl recently completed a successful national double header tour with Boom Crash Opera and completed Series 2 of the Red Hot Summer Tour with Simple Minds and ICEHOUSE.

Ella Hooper

Ella Hooper was still a teenager when she burst onto the Australian music scene – Unearthed by Triple J when she was just 13, Ella scored her first number one with the single ‘Mascara’ on her 17th birthday. And at 18, she became the first woman to be awarded APRA’s Songwriter of the Year.
After releasing three hit albums with Killing Heidi, Ella embarked on a solo career. Her forthcoming album, Small Town Temple – written in her hometown of Violet Town – has been hailed as a new beginning, showcasing Ella’s deeply personal songwriting.
After a multitude of gold and platinum records and four ARIA Awards, Ella remains committed to her craft.

Anna Smyrk

With a voice described as ‘truly astonishing’ by Rolling Stone, Anna Smyrk is a powerful singer and songmaker from Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). Her songs are anthemic indie bombshells, pairing vulnerable lyrics with explosive arrangements and undeniable hooks.​ The last 12 months have been massive for Anna, with highlights including supporting Birds of Tokyo and Tim Rogers, touring North America and Europe, official showcases at NXNE (Canada), Folk Alliance International (USA) and Live at Heart (Sweden) and recording a new EP in Nashville with award-winning producers Jake Finch and Collin Pastore (Lucy Dacus). The first single from the new record, ‘I Don’t Want to Meet Your Mother.’ was added to Apple Music’s New Indie playlist across multiple territories and ‘The Runner’ was added to MTV in Germany. Anna has toured widely throughout Australia including gracing festival stages at Port Fairy Folk Festival, Sip & Savour, Marysville Music Festival & Woodford Folk Festival.

Wendy Matthews and Grace Knight

Grace Knight and Wendy Matthews are two of the most iconic and beloved singers in Australian music … they’re both multi-award winning artists with a swag of Countdown, MTV and ARIA awards between them and a bundle of platinum albums under their belts.

In their first show together, and for a limited time, these legends of Aussie music present the songs of one of the world’s greatest living songwriters. Paul Simon has written some of the best known and acclaimed songs in popular music, ranging from Simon and Garfunkel gems like Sounds Of Silence, The Boxer, Homeward Bound and Bridge Over Trouble Water, to his solo classics like, You Can Call Me Al, Late In The Evening, Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes and Graceland. His albums, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Graceland feature among the highest selling albums of all time.

Ramble Tamble

This April world class five-piece band Ramble Tamble are ready to set the Piano Bar alight with their immaculate rendition of one of the greatest bands to ever live – Creedence Clearwater Revival!

Creedence undoubtedly changed the landscape of rock and roll forever in both the late sixties and early seventies and cemented themselves into a commercial zenith whose legacy remains to this very day.

Ramble Tamble are a world class five-piece Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band based in Melbourne. The band was conceived in 1989.  All band members have had years of experience touring in some of the world’s top recording artists nationally and internationally respectively. They take immense pride in the detail they put into producing this CCR show. It’s a Creedence tribute that no die-hard Creedence fan would be disappointed with.

Ian Moss Acoustic Tour

Ian Moss, who Cold Chisel bandmate Don Walker once described as “The most gifted musician I’ve ever seen”, will hit the road in in 2024 to support his new studio album Rivers Run Dry.  The Rivers Run Dry Tour will feature songs from Rivers Run Dry and the songs you love – Bow River, Tuckers Daughter, Telephone Booth, My Baby and many more.

If it’s Mossy on stage with just his guitar and stomp box or with a band in top gear, you know he will leave nothing in the tank, and it is this total commitment to his craft that has been mesmerizing audiences for over 40 years.

The new album, Rivers Run Dry, containing 12 songs, including a duet with Kasey Chambers, is a musical feast displaying once more Ian’s well-documented guitar-playing genius and a voice that floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. Or packs the punch of a Mallee bull. Either way it is unforgettable.

Ian will be supported by Callum Wylie: Callum Wylie draws his influences from far and wide to help him carefully craft the one thing he truly cares about: Songs. Having released two solo EPs and a full band LP he has since relocated to Melbourne sparking multiple musical projects including a new EP expected to be released in 2024.

In the Summer of ‘23/24 Ross Wilson is hitting the road with his all-star band The Peaceniks to celebrate over “50 Years of Hits” including all the Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock favourites you’d expect along with the latest offering from an almost 6-decade career, tracks from his latest EP on Bloodlines Records, “She’s Stuck On Facebook All The Time”, and everything in between.

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected, and well-known artists! From the legendary band Daddy Cool whose number one anthem “Eagle Rock” and debut album “Daddy Who?” smashed all previous sales records in Australia an astounding 50 years ago in 1971, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits ‘Cool World’, ‘State of The Heart’, ‘Chemistry’, ‘No Time’, and ‘Come Said The Boy’ and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight. His latest release in 2023 “She’s Stuck On Facebook All The Time” is a modern-day tragicomedy in the blues genre. Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson’s live performances are legendary.
