Melbourne’s live music scene is one of the greatest this little world of ours has to offer. Let’s keep it that way.
Signing up for a Music Victoria membership will not only get you a plethora of killer (and actually quite useful) discounts, it will ensure that the team of hardworking legends behind the Music Vic team can keep fighting the good fight and advocating on behalf of our state’s world-renowned music scene.
New and existing members who renew between March 22 and March 31 2017 will go into the running for a swag of amazing prizes, and are rewarded with 15 new member discounts across the state.
If you needed any more convincing, you’ll be joining the ranks of Camp Cope, Kylie Auldist, Jo Syme (Big Scary, Pieater), Rich Stanley (The Tote, Aarght Records), Mathew Rogers (UNIFIED) and James Young (Cherry Bar, Yah Yahs) – all amongst those within the Victorian music community who stand behind Music Victoria as an independent, not-for-profit organisation and the state’s peak body for contemporary music.
2017 prizes up for grabs include tickets to Palace Cinemas, Cherry Rock, Groovin’ The Moo Bendigo, Reclink Community Cup 2017, The Croxton Bandroom, Karova Lounge Ballarat, Revolver Upstairs and a whole slew more of Victoria’s favourite venues.
Also up for grabs is a huge prize pack for one lucky band including a mentorship with music aficionado and all-around great guy Mikey Cahill, a Mountain Goat Party Pack, free rehearsal studio time at Wick Studios, two live gig film clips, one free recorded, mixed and mastered song at Almo Studios and 50 duplicated cassettes from Dex Audio.
Capping it off comes professional development opportunities, free street press advertising with Forte Magazine, and a whole lot more.
