Everybody Must Dance thanks to the enigmatic Sir Winston

Throwing down the gauntlet hard with ‘Everybody Must Dance’, his hybrid of indie-dance primed to make bodies move, the enigmatic Sir Winston has unveiled more layers to the single in announcing an epic remix package that features three unique takes on the catchy original.

‘Everybody Must Dance’, the first single taken from the forthcoming Sir Winston debut album, presents a bright and exciting snapshot of the artist he continues to flourish into. With influences from the likes of LCD Soundsystem right through to Future Islands and David Bowie contributing to the irresistible nature of ‘Everybody Must Dance’, listeners get an introduction to a producer and musician who lives for the moment and brings that energy to record in all its vibrancy.

Check the three remixes here.

Fascinator, the nom de plume of Aussie musician Johnny Mackay (Children Collide), puts his unique flair on ‘Everybody Must Dance’ giving the ‘Refascinated’ remix an eclectic and individualistic result.

A strong influence on the sound of the original, the essence of David Bowie’s enigmatic and intoxicating artistry was one that Sir Winston paid tribute to in great fashion with the ‘David Bowie’s Eyes’ remix.

Continuing to flourish under the direction of Nadi, the third of these new remixes infuses ‘Everybody Must Dance’ with a rework of Sir Winston’s beats and makes it irresistible to get down to.

To celebrate the hella-catchy track, Sir Winston has given us a sneak-peek at his top tracks of 2019.

Jamie XX – Gosh
What an incredible track by an incredible artist. It’s so sick. It’s like you’re getting ready for battle but it has this melody that happens with the synth that is also really uplifting and positive and almost heartfelt. It’s an incredibly inspiring track to me. The sounds are so dope. It’s just awesome. Love this so much.

Gerling – Enter Space Capsule
I’ve loved Gerling since day one and this track is my favourite. It’s so cool and sexy. I’ve been playing it for years and years. Still sounds super fresh even today. I play it to people who have never heard it and they are surprised it’s not new. It’s so quirky and uplifting and positive. “Something good is going to happen to you !” – so amazing and happy. I love it.

The Avalanches -Since I left you
Like Gerling’s track I keep this track close too. The sounds are so cruzy – it sets up imagery of an amazing sexy summer beach party. It takes you to a wonderful place. Great production by a legendary Aussie band.

Chemical Brothers with The Flaming Lips – The Golden Path
From the moment this tracks killer groove drops you know you are on an adventure. I’ve been playing it for years. Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips is one of my all time heroes and this track with Chemical bros will never leave me. It’s an amazing party track with the most heartfelt celebration vocal. “Please forgive me I never meant to hurt you “ so sweet. Perfection in my book.

Super Flu & Andhim – Reeves
I can’t remember how I came across this track but it’s killer. The loop is nuts and it’s a starter for me when I DJ. The tease of the massive sexy riff after the build is just so dope. It’s a Detroit whip that riff – it’s sexy – it’s just that little riff that only happens a few times in the song that you yearn after hearing it. Addictive.

Laurent Garnier – Crispy Bacon
My brother Harley loves this track. It’s old school AF. Ultimate banger in my bag. Too much for some. Gotta pick your moment but when it works people slam.

Sleighbells – Infinity Guitars
I adore sleigh bells. When i first saw the video i went Oh No ! Here we go. I’ve seen them so many times live now and this track live is siiiiick.

RAC – Let Go ft. Kele, MNDR
Super tight upbeat pop dance song this and it brings back awesome recent memories. It’s super catchy and I love dancing to it. Good times for sure.

Talking Heads – Once in a lifetime (bootleg white label remix)
I saw David a teen twice last year live in New York. So amazing. This remix of once I. A lifetime has been around forever but is so good. I play it all the time.

The release of the ‘Everybody Must Dance’ remix package follows on from Sir Winston’s high profile collaborations with Maybelline, Nike and Victoria’s Secret, which have engineered great exposure for the single in the lead up to the official release of the original mix in June.
