Great events coming up at the Potato Shed

There’s a couple of great events coming up at the Potato Shed in the next few weeks.
Saturday we have Sunshine Boy the story of Leigh Bowery, a London-based performance artist, club promoter and designer. He was an eccentric figure in the underground clubs of London and New York, as well as in art and fashion circles. Dance, text, fashion, art, sex and music feature in this in-your-face look at a life lived wildly. Leigh has influenced the likes of Boy George, Lady Gaga, Marilyn and a whole string of Club Kids. Just the one performance on Saturday 24 February at 8pm.
On March 8 we are delighted to host The Young Folk direct from Ireland! Since their initial discovery, TYF have been hailed as audience favourites and are filling venues both at home and overseas. With their intoxicating voices punctuating warm harmonies that illuminate the horizon of a fiery energy they are rapidly becoming firm favourites and easy to fall in love with This one-off event also features special guests Andy Irvine (Ireland) and Luke Plumb (Aus) – just one concert on Thursday March 8 at 8pm.
