Hey guys! Thanks for taking the time to chat to us today, for our readers who haven’t come across you before can you describe yourselves in five words? Groovy. Excellent. Wicked. Filthy. Toey. Congratulations on ‘Low Pockets’, can you describe it for those who haven’t heard it yet? ‘Low Pockets’ has a dark and melancholy lyrical tone that draws a lot of influence from ’90s female artists such as Ani Defanco, Alanis Morrisette and Bjork. The emotion and delivery of Tina’s vocal performance is intended to give a sense of empowerment to the listener. The instrumentation of the track fits together like a jigsaw puzzle and has a constant groove that doesn’t let up until the bridge. The first half of the song will have your shoulders moving, the second half of the song will have your whole body moving. What was it like playing at Sea Shepherd’s Stand Fast Festival? Good vibes all round. Excellent music. Excellent food. The organisers did an incredible job and we were thankful we got to take part in the celebration. Do you have any memorable moments from this single launch? Any favourite fan reactions? The best feedback we had came from a random bloke after the single launch. He had been at the pub next door being a good friend and supporting his mates band. When he came outside for a smoke he heard us playing in the front of Bar 303. He decided we were heaps better than his mates band, so he decided to hang out and watch us for the rest of the night. He really dug our songs. What are you looking forward to achieving next? Hopefully we will be back in the studio soon recording another single for release. Outside of the studio work we hope to be playing more live shows.
