The art of sewing is nowhere near dead, and making sure it stays alive and kicking is Lyn Luck from the Sewing Room in Newtown. Classes for these holidays have just been announced and are to be held on January 6, 8, 12, 15, 20 & 22.
They are split into young sewers (those aged 6-8) and older sewers (those aged 9+) and each will come home with a small project they’ve made by hand (the older sewers will use a sewing machine as well). Jump on the website (www.thesewingroomgeelong.com.au) to book classes.
