Yours & Owls Festival is expected to be bigger and better in 2016 and to complement that promise the Wollongong label have unveiled a slew of Australia and the world’s finest musical talent to perform at the event.
A festival only in its third year has already welcomed some of Australia’s best, including Cloud Control, The Preatures, The Delta Riggs, Saskwatch, The Smith Street Band and Gang of Youths, but 2016 may prove to be the best lineup yet.
San Jose hip hop extraordinaire Antwon will be joined one of Australia’s most loved indie troupes Ball Park Music for the festival as well as Yours & Owls local Bec Sandridge, The Belligerents and Big Scary.
Also featuring on the lineup is Canada’s Black Mountain, Bleached, Chastity Belt, Client Liaison, The Coathangers, COG, DMA’s, The Hard Aches, Hermitude, Hockey Dad, Kilter, KLP, Ladyhawke, Little May and The Living End.
Peking Duk’s famous collaborator Nicole Millar will also be performing alongside Pinheads, PUP, Remi, Sampa The Great, Skeggs, The Sonics, Stonefield, TEES, Thelma Plum, Tired Lion, Tkay Maidza, Totally Unicorn and Vera Blue.
Yours & Owls Festival goes down at Wollongong’s Stuart Park over two days between Saturday October 1 and Sunday October 2.
