The ‘Signature’ Tonkotsu Ramen is boiled in a 10-hour slow-cooked pork broth, immersing it entirely in its delicious flavours. Combined with local Victorian produce and Japanese imported ingredients and ramen is then topped with egg-free silky noodles, chashu (braised BBQ pork), spring onions, bamboo shoots and egg – this meal is absolute hearty goodness!
If you’re looking to spice things up and not afraid to take on Shinya Ramen’s hottest ramen dish give the Supa Spicy Ramen a try! Made with a special blend of homemade chilli paste – this is definitely not for the faint hearted.
You also have the option to add additional toppings including karaage (friend chicken) and seaweed (just to name a few) to customise the ramen to your tastebuds and cravings!

The restaurant also offers a number of flavour packed options beyond ramen. From Bento Boxes, Crab claws, and Donburi rice bowls, there’s something to suit every member of your dinning party.
You can also choose to indulge in the restaurant’s new starters that have been introduced! From Beef Tatak – lightly seared slices of beef guaranteed to melt in your mouth to Japanese Wafu Sauce and Japanese Gyozas with your choice of pork or veggie filling. You definitely don’t want to miss out on these!
Don’t fret! We haven’t forgotten about our vegetarian and vegan readers; this place has plenty to choose from to suit your palette. The restaurant offers Veggie Tempura Bento Boxes, tofu salad, spring rolls, must have edamame and Veggie Ramen.
Shinya Ramen also serves alcoholic beverages including Japanese beer on tap, and a Traditional Sake bar inside the venue serving a large selection of Japan’s finest sake to complement your hot bowl of Ramen.
