It’s unheard of for a band to call it quits before their expiry but You Me At Six have decided to end their career on a high and on their own terms. All original members are still in the band and still as close knit as ever, another rarity for a band of their calibre and dominance. Throughout their double decade career the band have earned multiple number 1 albums, dominated charts, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, sold out arenas and headlined some of the worlds biggest festivals. They even have starpower like Paramore referring to them as their favourite band, made only more cement when they toured together.

To celebrate their rich band history, the tour will see the band playing a career-spanning 2 hour long set, heading out with a bang.

“We’ve got a plan to play songs from every single album and make it a real victory lap. And everyone feels like that. We’ve looked at the setlists and gone, ‘Cool – those five can stay, the rest is going to be stuff we haven’t done for years. We want to have 50 songs ready to go so that each night we can constantly mix it up and make it special.”

“When we started YMAS we were kids. We only ever wanted to travel and to experience life as a group of friends. We feel like on the eve of our 20th anniversary as a band, now is a good time to call time. “We’re in a fortunate position where our fans still want to see us live and come celebrate the life of this band. So that is what we will do for 2024 and 2025. We can’t wait to see our fans on the road.” explains frontman Josh Franceschi.

Along for the celebration is special guests, Cardiff natives and Loudwire proclaimed “UK’s most exciting new rock band”, Holding Absence. Known for their emotive lyricism and powerful soundscapes, Holding Absence will hold their own on the tour, riding high on the back of their critically acclaimed latest album, the poetically titled The Noble Art Of Self Destruction.

Tickets for the final curtain call go on presale Wednesday 15 May at 9:00am local time, with general public sale following on Friday 17 May at 9:00am local. Tickets and tour information can be found here.
