You can now order pupcakes, donuts and doggy pancakes for your pooch on UberEats in Geelong

Order in for the night for both you and your pooch.

If there’s one thing we love more than treating ourselves, it’s treating our loyal and fluffy, four-legged best friends.

Usually when we’re looking for sweet and savoury treats for four-legged foodies, we’d have to jump in the car and head into town, or wait a few days for your online order to arrive. Well, that’s all a thing of the past thanks to Geelong’s dedicated doggo business, Pure Paws Dog Bakery.

Looking to holiday with your doggo? Check out our piece on dog-friendly regional stays.

Catering to anyone that loves to spoil their pup, Pure Paws Dog Bakery are now on UberEats, delivering a whole bunch of treats from 11am to 8pm, allowing you to dine in with your pooch in the comfort of your home.

With 16 items to choose from an almost entirely UberEats-exclusive menu, you’ll be able to order delicious, fancy and gourmet doggy treats. Think gourmet dog pupcakes, gourmet dog donuts, and oven-baked dog biscuits, as well as dessert doggy boxes, with gourmet blondies, gourmet brownies and mixed oven-baked biccies.

If you’re trying to impress your little bestie, you’ll also be able to get your hands on choc chip doggy pancakes, made with carob chips and peanut butter, doggy churros and Peanut Butter Woofles.

How good?!

Taking the title of Australia’s first Dog Bakery on Uber Eats, Pure Paws Dog Bakery operates out of its venue on Pakington Street in a little 1860s converted bluestone coach house, full of classical charm, warehouse chic and high-quality and unique pet treats and products.

Founded in 2017 by veterinary nurse and animal obsessed Nedda Tay, Pure Paws Dog Bakery was created to offer a natural and healthy alternative to the harmful commercial treats that flood the market inspired by the love of spoiling pooches with treats. Offering a range of naturally homemade, gourmet Aussie pet treats, Pure Paws Bakery earned quickly themselves a solid reputation for creating some of the best birthday cakes, pupcakes, donuts, biscuits and chocolates in Geelong.

Opening Geelong’s Geelong’s first Dog Bakery and Café in 2019, the Pure Paws Bakery storefront dream was crushed when they were forced to close their bakery back in March due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Continuing to chase that dream, the bakery teamed up with Belmont’s loved cupcakery Cara Mia Cake back in November for a three-month pop-up doggy bakery.

While the pop-up wasn’t permanent, it gave Nedda the confidence she needed to rebuild her business and secure the perfect permanent location for her thriving business – and a shopfront in the middle of dog-loving Newtown couldn’t be more fitting. It’s here where you’ll find more than 40 of their best products on offer, alongside a selection of bagged treats, cupcakes, doddy donuts and puppuccinos for the doggos.

Clearly a woman and dog lover driven by creativity and passion, Nedda continues to thrive and adapt her business in even the toughest of circumstances and we cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.
