You can now belt out karaoke and knockback $12 cocktails on Friday nights in Geelong

Head to the castle and sing all your fave tunes at the top of your lungs.

Oh yes, they’ve done it again.

Just when you thought Friday nights couldn’t get any better, the folk at one of Geelong’s mainstays Elephant and Castle have gone and announced a weekly karaoke and cocktails night.

Taking over the main bar every Friday night, the pub is hosting karaoke from 8:30pm with $12 cocktail specials to get you singing and dancing all night long. Think espresso martinis, French martinis, and amaretto sours, and the likes of Poker Face, The Horses, Livin’ On A Prayer or Wannabe.

The venue will be providing props if you’re wanting to go incognito, and you can book for dinner if you want to fill up and get your song selections in early.

Whether it’s pregame for a big night out, or the final destination once you’ve had so much to drink that you forget that you can’t hold a tune (at 8:30pm at night…), it’s going to be hard to have a forgettable night of karaoke at the Elephant! Oh and it’s free entry!

While they only got one week in before COVID restrictions hit, they’re now back and we’re already excited to see the lengthy Instagram stories of locals belting out a Rhianna and Whitney.

The Elephant and Castle is located at 158 McKillop St, East Geelong. Walk-ins are welcomed but bookings are recommended. Visit the website for more information.
