Music lovers, prepare for a thrilling November as Dallas Frasca, the Australian musical sensation, takes up residency at The Gem Bar in Collingwood. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Frasca is a class apart, a magnetic force on stage, and an indomitable voice on the microphone.

This residency marks a remarkable new chapter in Frasca’s already illustrious career. In her innovative ‘one-woman show’ format, she’s set to grace the stage each Thursday throughout November, treating fans to a sneak peek of freshly minted material.

Speaking of this upcoming musical extravaganza, Dallas herself exclaims, “Super amped about this residency. I’ve got a whole stack of new songs and I have a few little sonic surprises planned as well. On top of that, I’m excited about the incredible local artists who are coming in to support. The Gem will be a rad little second home this November… I’m looking forward to nestling into that well-trodden and iconic alcove to belt out some tunes…”

Frasca’s impressive list of accolades includes a Top 10 Australian ARIA-charting album, ‘Artist of the Year’ at the Independent Music Awards, and being a finalist for the inaugural Australian Women in Music Awards in the ‘Artistic Excellence’ category.

Having graced the stage at over 1000 shows and embarked on nine international tours, Frasca has shared the limelight with legendary acts like Patti Smith, Earth Wind & Fire, and even fronted members of the iconic Aussie rock band Midnight Oil in support of Amnesty International. Her musical journey has taken her from Bluesfest and Falls Festival to Woodford, the Sydney Opera House, and beyond. Notably, in 2018, Dallas Frasca showcased her guitar prowess to an estimated 1.5 billion viewers during the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. Her talent has even garnered the endorsement of rock icon Slash from Guns N’ Roses, who praised her “great vocals, riffs, and grooves.”
