We’re giving away a double pass for An Evening of Magic and Wizards and Quizzes in Geelong and Bendigo, and a double pass for Kryal Castle’s Wizard Activity Day in Ballarat.

In case you’ve missed the magical news, the Weasley’s are coming to town in 2021!

Thanks to the wizards over at Wowza Entertainment, our regional is set to host stars from one of the most iconic movie franchises in history for three separate, enchanting days of activities.

Set for Thursday, April 8 next year, English actors James and Oliver Phelps, better known as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, alongside Bonnie Wright and Chris Rankin, better known as Ginny and Percy Weasley, are bringing the magic to the region’s famous Kryal Castle for their Wizard Activity Day. The four actors starred in the iconic Harry Potter movies between 2001 and 2011, alongside co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.

The six-hour event will see a number of magical performances, Q&A sessions with the famed actors, and meet and greets with photo opportunities which is sure to please all the Potter-heads out there.

Held at the wonderous castle in Ballarat, ticketholders will be able to experience the thundering drama of the joust as brave knights and their magnificent mounts face each other in the Castle Arena, wander through the twists and turns of the maze, visit the archery range and try your hand, or step into the Wizard’s Workroom to marvel at the magical goings-on.

Attendees are also encouraged to don their best magical-themed outfit, and thankfully, both muggles and wizards are welcome.

While there’s no doubt something special about catching a glimpse of these stars at a castle, the stars will also be making their way to venues in Ballarat and Geelong that same week of April 2021 for ‘An Evening of Magic and Wizards and Quizzes’.

The event will head to Geelong Sports Hub on Monday, April 5 and to the Bendigo Showgrounds on Wednesday April 7

This three-hour event will run similar to the Kryal Castle event, with tell all Q&A’s with the stars, the ability to have your photo taken with the Weasley car, and be wowed by quiz host Cosentino – all except for the additional magical adventures that the castle itself offers.

While the new event is exactly seven months away and pretty much anything can happen between now and then, organisers have stated that if the show is unable to go ahead due to the coronavirus, they will reschedule dates to later in 2021, and if for any reason the show is cancelled, you will receive a 100% refund for those who purchase tickets.
