Where to vote early in the Geelong region for The Voice referendum

Early voting opens on Monday - jump the queues by heading to voting centres in Geelong this October.

Early voting in the Geelong region is set to open on October 2 for The Voice, Australia’s first referendum since 1999.

If you’re eager to have your say but can’t make it on the big day (FYI October 14), don’t fret; many early voting centres are set to open across Victoria this October. Here’s a short guide to everything you need to know about casting your vote early.

  • Early voting opens on Monday, October 2
  • The in-person polling for the referendum takes place on Saturday, October 14

Where to vote early in Geelong for the Voice 2023

You can also vote by post – you must apply before October 11, with the ballot packs sent out to your postal address. Apply to vote by post by heading here and then enjoy the rest of your beach holiday.

Do I have to vote in the Voice referendum?

Yeah mate, it’s the same as the rest of them: voting is compulsory – everyone on the electoral roll is required to vote.
