Unleash your inner rockstar at The Deck on Friday nights.
For those with the stage confidence of Aretha Franklin, the voice of Adele or the moves like Jagger, cancel your plans for Friday nights because The Deck in Geelong is offering you your time to shine.
Since its killer makeover a couple of years ago, The Deck on Gheringhap Street has quickly become a favourite amongst locals looking for a cold beer, quality meal and decent tunes to see them through the week. In a historical hotel dating back to 1854 (when it was The Golden Age), it was given the ultimate refresh with the brand-new wooden style décor, bigger fridges (which means more room for beer), patched-up floors, and most importantly, one hell of a renovated beer garden.

With all that sorted, it’s well and truly become the place to go for some killer meal deals, epic events, cocktail specials, and now, weekly karaoke. Oh yes.
Taking over the main bar in the downstairs part of the venue every Friday night, the pub is hosting karaoke from 8pm (until close!) with weekly drink specials to get you singing and dancing all night long. Think 3 for $30 martinis paired with the likes of Poker Face, The Horses, Livin’ On A Prayer or Wannabe.
The venue itself has a huge list of cocktails, with some of our favourites only being $12 (hello Fruit Tingle!), and if all that singing and drinking has made you ravenous, the Deck also has a delicious food menu with all the pub classics to choose from.
As for the karaoke, there’s a lengthy list of songs to choose from, so all you need to do is pick your favourite and wait for your name to be called.
Whether it’s pregame for a big night out, or the final destination once you’ve had so much to drink that you forget that you can’t hold a tune, it’s going to be hard to have a forgettable night of karaoke at the Deck. Oh, and it’s free entry!
