We believe your differences make you a better educator

Whether you’re a world traveller, a school-leaver or a career changer, your experience can help shape the future. The world needs educators who can connect and engage from a range of diverse perspectives. It needs people who can bring difference to the table.

If you’re looking for a career in adult education or education administration – or you’re checking out alternative pathways to degrees where you can become a teacher – Federation University Australia’s Bachelor of Education Studies program is for you.

This new degree is about preparing you for work in learning and education. In your third year you’ll do a Certificate IV in Training and Education, which lets you teach in Adult Learning settings and qualifies you as an Education Support worker (Integration Aide).

After your first year, you can apply to transfer into the second year of other undergrad FedUni Education programs, which can qualify you as a teacher and gain you registration with VIT – or be your pathway into a Master of Education Studies, Master of Teaching (Primary) or Master of Social Work (Qualifying).

FedUni’s Open Access selection process gets that your experience has value. Whether you’re just finishing Year 12, returning to uni after deferring or just after a fresh change, FedUni looks beyond your ATAR number to find students who have the passion and ability to make a difference.

2017 is your year to join Victoria’s #1 Victorian university for employment outcomes and teaching quality*, and become a part of the Federation Generation. With smaller class sizes, excellent placement opportunities and a close-knit community at each campus, FedUni turns passionate students into sought-after graduates.
