If you haven’t seen the classic cooking videos popping up online, courtesy of one of Australia’s most metal comedians Nat’s What I Reckon, you’re seriously missing out on some good laughs.
So far he has gifted us “Quarantine Sauce”, “End of Days Bolognese”, “Let’s pie-solate”, and “Kay’s Legendary Pancakes” cooking videos, among others, clocking up views close to 100 million across all platforms.
Although his succulent meals may fool you into thinking he’s a real chef, Nat’s What I Reckon is actually just a pretty popular comic with a vendetta against “jar sauces” who just happens to be whipping up some mean meals in isolation.
Now the content creator, comedian, rock musician, isolation cooking champion and mental health ambassador (AKA legend) is extending his cooking skills to others on the other side of the world, teaching American rapper Machine Gun Kelly how to poach an egg.
The two connected over zoom while MGK was on lockdown in LA and Nat was in Sydney and the end result is a hilarious piece that touched on everything from Americanisms to Australian Party Boy ‘Corey Delaney Worthington’.
