Violent Soho enter into the beer world with the East Coast Crusher

After mastering the music world, Mansfield band Violent Soho have decided to turn their focus to beer.

In a collaboration with Stone & Wood brewing, East Coast Crusher was born. A pilot batch, which as the description states is “an Aussie unfiltered Kolsch that’s been dry hopped with Ella and Victoria’s Secret which hits your tastebuds with a floral punch up front then balances out with a refreshing bitterness”.

“People get to do collaborations with companies all the time but very rarely do you get to collaborate with the best in the industry. We feel like the luckiest dudes in the world that we got to hand craft our own beer with Stone & Wood in the Byron Bay Brewery. We cannot wait for everybody to try our East Coast Crusher,” the band say about the collaboration.

To launch the beer, there will be a series of launch parties across the country on October 13  (the closest for Forte readers is at the Yellow Bird in Melbourne) with those who already hold tickets to the Violent Soho tour dates getting their first taste of the new beer on the band.

Let’s hope their beer is as good as their music.

The event runs at the Yellow Bird in Melbourne from 6pm on October 13. Entry is free but 18+.

Violent Soho are also touring the country, stopping by Festival Hall on October 31. Tickets available via the website.

Please note: Violent Soho are not actually performing at the launch parties
