Debuting at #2 on the ARIA Chart in September 2021, The Wait marked the third top-two albums from Vika & Linda in just 15 months. The Wait followed their chart-topping anthology ‘Akilotoa – the first-ever #1 album by an Australian female duo – and the gospel collection Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso), which debuted at #2.
Featuring the singles ‘Raise Your Hand’, ‘My Heart Is In The Wrong Place’, ‘Like A Landslide’ and ‘Lover Don’t Keep Me Waiting’, The Wait was met with universal acclaim in what was their first original album in 19 years.
It’s been remarkable few years, and Vika & Linda are looking forward to hitting the stage again in July when they head out into regional Victoria for a handful of shows and then over to Tassie for shows in Devonport, Hobart and Launceston. Accompanying them will be their beloved band The Bullettes, featuring Cameron Bruce (MD/keyboards), Benjamin Hauptmann (guitar), Richard Bradbeer (bass) and Lachlan O’Kane (drums)
